Steve Paul founded V1M, Inc. in 1995 and PortalStone (V1M business unit) in 2001. His background is in Software, Hardware and Networks, and the Internet in particular. From 1984 to 1989, Steve worked at Symbolics the (then current) worldwide leader in AI Technologies and Lisp Machines. On March 15, 1985, Symbolics was assigned the very first Internet domain name - Symbolics.com. Steve has been involved with the development of the Internet since the very beginning. He has contributed to the specifications, standards, and reference architectures within the working groups of industry associations that have helped shaped the Internet as we know it today. A well recognized thought leader in the Technology Industry and an expert in Digital Media Technologies, Steve frequently speaks at industry conferences and forums including: Digital Hollywood, Streaming Media, Mipcom, NAB, and ACM.
